Trust deficit between builders & consumers should be eliminated: Yogi

tressing the need to build trust between builders and consumers, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said today that many complaints have been received that realtors have taken money from the buyers but houses were not delivered. Mr Yogi also unveiled website of Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA) www.up.rera.in. He said this website will work as a bridge between consumer and builders. Central government has already passed the act, he said.

UP CM said this portal has been released to protect the interest of consumers. This portal will end communication gap between builders and consumers. Complaints like not giving the possession even after paying whole money will reduce. He said the state government will provide favourable atmosphere for real estate business. Poor and needy will get houses under Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana till 2022. He said that till 2019, 22 lakh houses in rural areas while urban areas will get 2 lakh houses. Mr Yogi said urban areas will get house in 30 square meters which will have two rooms, one kitchen and attached rest rooms.
