Former DC Jammu, Simrandeep Singh is the new chairman, JKSSB, two more IAS transferred

Jammu: In an order issued today by Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department, the former Deputy Commissioner has been appointed as the new Chairman of Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board replacing Sarita Chauhan. There are two more changes made in the state administration cadre. The complete list is below.

In the interest of J&K Civil Administration, the following transfers and postings are hereby ordered with immediate effect:

1. Sarita Chauhan, IAS (JK:1999), Chairperson, Services Selection Board, is transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K Special Tribunal, against an available vacancy.

2. Simrandeep Singh, IAS (JK:2008), awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, is posted as Chairman, Services Selection Board vice Sarita Chauhan.

3. Sushma Chauhan, IAS (JK:2009), awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, is posted as Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu vice Arun Kumar Sharma, who shall await orders of posting in the General Administration Department.
