HC order include the names of 58 petitioners for biometric regularization

Jammu, JULY 22: In a petition filed by bunch of quashing the list issued by Incharge Akhnoor Division Flood Control & Irrigation Department as per the Government circular No. 02-F OF 2017 whereby the services of the services of the petitioners are being terminated which is violative of fundamental rights of the petitioner and also seeking direction to the Commissioner/Secretary to include the names of the petitioners being employees/workers/laborers engaged/ appointed at Akhnoor division by the department in the list prepared by the concerned officers of the said Akhnoor Division of thereby granting benefit of the J&K.
Justice Tashi Rabstan after hearing Adv PC Sharma with Anchit H Sharma for the petitioner, issued notice to the state and in the meanwhile directed respondents to file objections from other side and till next date of hearing and also directed respondents to include the name of the petitioners in list under rules, in terms of the circular NO 02-F of 2017 dated June 15, 2017 for their regularization till then status-quo regarding their termination shall be maintained.
