Jammu: In a major re-shuffle in civil administration, the government has transferred and posted 41 administrative officers, across the state.
In its order numbered 946-GAD of 2017, the government transferred Abdul Rashid War, KAS, Additional Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, and posted as Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, against an available vacancy; Mohammad Rafi, KAS, Additional Secretary to the Government, ARI and Trainings Department, is transferred and posted as Director, Tribal Affairs, J&K, vice M.S. Choudhary, KAS; Mohinder Singh, KAS, Joint Director, Industries and Commerce (Development), Jammu, is transferred and posted as Additional Transport Commissioner, J&K; Dr. Firdous Ahmad Giri, KAS, Additional Secretary in the J&K State Vigilance Commission, is transferred and posted as Additional Director, SKIMS.
Surat Singh, KAS, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Doda, is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner (Central) in the office of Financial Commissioner, Revenue; Shubra Sharma, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Relief Organization (Migrants), Jammu, under orders of transfer as Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants), J&K, is transferred and posted as Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Jammu; Dara Singh Kotwal, KAS, under orders of transfer as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kishtwar, is transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Hqr); Nazir Ahmad Khwaja, KAS, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Baramula, under orders of transfer as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, is transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Kulgam.
Mohammad Qasim Wani, KAS, Joint Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Baramulla; Ramesh Chander, KAS, under orders of transfer as Joint Director, Education (Udhampur-Reasi), is transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Reasi; Nazir Ahmad Baba, KAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla, is transferred and posted as Additional District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal; Mohammad Hanief Malik, KAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Doda, is transferred and posted as Regional Director, Survey and Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer), Doda.
Musheer Ahmad, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Hqr), is transferred and posted as Member, J&K Services Selection Board whereas Abdul Hafiz Shah, KAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, is transferred and posted as Vice-Chairman, Lakes and Waterways Development Authority, relieving Thaseen Mustafa, KAS, Vice-Chairman, Srinagar Development Authority of the additional charge of the post. Shafqat Iqbal, KAS, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Gulmarg, is transferred and posted as Member, J&K Services Selection Board.

Hussain; Pran Singh, under orders of transfer as Joint Director in the Directorate of Information, J&K, is posted as Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Recoveries), Jammu, vice Kanta Devi.
Ashiq Hussain Lily, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Pulwama, is transferred and posted as Joint Director, ICDS, Social Welfare Department; Bilal Khurshid, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kulgam, is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, vice Mohammad Ahsan Mir; Parvez Ahmad Raina, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam shall hold the charge of the post of Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Kulgam, in addition to his own duties; Abdul Majid Zargar, Joint Director in the Directorate of Information, J&K, under orders of transfers as Joint Director, ICDS, Social Welfare Department, shall continue as Joint Director in the Directorate of Information, J&K.
