One dead as dumper plunges into Kishan Ganga dam

Srinagar: In a tragic incident, a dumper fell into the dam of Kishanganga Hydero Electric Project Thursday resulting in the death of Surender, son of Kartar Singh, resident of village Saghu in Padar, Kishtwar whereas three others have sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Due to high water level in the dam, the body of the deceased could not be located. However, the serach operation to fish out the body is on.
The dumper belonged to Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) working on the hydro power project.
