Andrabi attends 125th Urs at Darbar –e-Aalia Younusia

Devotees from different States attended Urs, prayed for peace, prosperity of JK

KUPWARA, JULY 20: Minister of State for Hajj and Auqaf, Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi today attending 125th Urs-e-Mubarak at Durbar –e-Aalia Younusia at Awoora Kupwara and prayed for peace and prosperity in the state.
Mr. Andrabi also reviewed the arrangements put in place by the district administration for the visiting pilgrims. The Minister was informed that all necessary arrangements have been put in place for the visitors.
While interacting with the visitors, the Minister said that the land of Kashmir is known as the land of Sufis and saints who throughout their life have preached compassion, peace and amity.
The Minister also met the Sajada-Nasheen Darbar-e-Aliya-Younusia, Alhaaj Peer Miyan Muhammad Maqbool Naqashbandi. On the occasion the Minister was informed by the organizers of the Urs that large number of devotees from various parts of the state and adjoining states like Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana attended the three day Urs.
During three day congregation, religious scholars threw light on multidimensional and multifaceted Islamic teachings.
The scholars also emphasized the importance of spirituality in present day world and discussed the issues related to erosion of moral and ethical values and chaos and disorder prevalent in the society.
