3 IAS transferred; SSA headless

Jammu: The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan is rendered headless in state as Saugat Biswas, Project Director of SSA in Jammu and Kashmir is transferred and posted as Transport Commissioner, J&K with no replacement made in his place, as the state government today ordered transfers and posted three IAS officers today.
In its order numbered 924-GAD of 2017, dated 19 July, 2017, the state government transferred SSA Project Director Saugat Biswas, posting him as Transport Commissioner, J&K, thus relieving Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad, Director, Youth Services and Sports of the additional charge of the post.
The other two officers transferred were Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department who is now posted as Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department. Rizvi will be replaced by Salma Hamid as Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department who was earlier posted as Member, J&K Special Tribunal, at Srinagar.
