Truck plunges into Chenab, two killed

Srinagar, June 21: Two persons are drowned after their truck skidded off the Srinagar-Jammu highway and plunged into Chenab river in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

The truck laden with fruits was on its way to Srinagar when the mishap took place near Mehar area of the district.

Police and volunteers have launched a rescue operation.
