Divisional Commissioner reviews traffic scenario

JAMMU, MAY 27 – Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Mandeep Bhandari today convened a meeting to review the traffic scenario in Jammu City and discuss the measures to streamline traffic movement.
Stressing on putting in place an effective traffic management plan Dr. Bhandari asked the concerned departments to work in synergy to check encroachments on roads and ensure smooth vehicular movements. He asked to put in place effective measures to streamline the traffic and avoid any inconvenience to the people.
The Divisional Commissioner also reviewed the progress of various ongoing developmental projects and asked the concerned to ensure proper monitoring so that projects are completed in time bound manner.
Chief Engineer (R&B), Sudheer Shah, VC, JDA, R. K. Shavan, RTO Jammu, A. K. Khajuria, SSP Traffic, Nisha Nathyal and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
