ICSI Announces free registration in CS Foundation/Executive Programme for the students from Jammu &Kashmir

Jammu, May 27: The Government of India has made ‘inclusive growth’ a key element of its policy platform. To achieve a growth process in which people from different walks of life can participate and benefit, The Institute of Company Secretaries of India today launched a special Fee Waiver Scheme for the students of Jammu & Kashmir.
Shri R D Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Jammu University, in the august presence of Shri Shyam Agarwal, President ICSI, Shri O.P. Sharma, Register of Companies cum official Liquidator, Jammu and Kashmir, Shri S.P. Sharma, Principal, Govt SPMR Colllege of Jammu and Executive members of Jammu Chapter of NIRC of ICSI launched the fee waiver scheme at a function held in Jammu today.
The fee waiver scheme for students "स्वावलम्बन - समग्र शिक्षा, समग्र विकास” will ensure free registration in CS course to the students of Jammu & Kashmir. This initiative will help the students of these areas to fulfil their aspirations and dreams to work in key managerial positions.
This scheme will cover waiving off the Fee for all students registering for the Foundation and Executive Programme Stages from the State of Jammu and Kashmir. All students belonging to the State of Jammu and Kashmir who have cleared the 10+2 or equivalent or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent irrespective of the percentage of marks shall be eligible for Fee Waiver while registering for Foundation Programme and Executive Programme Stage respectively.
CS (Dr.) Shyam Agrawal, President, ICSI while launching the fee waiver Scheme said that scheme has been launched in line with the policy of Government of India for inclusive growth of all parts of the country. It is an opportunity for the students belonging to and residing in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. This initiative is expected to play a significant role in promoting excellence and empowerment of the youth of the State of Jammu & Kashmir and bring all such students to the mainstream by nurturing their brilliance. “ICSI will go all the way to create enterprise awareness and readiness among the youth of Jammu and Kashmir”, Dr Agrawal further added.
Welcoming the ICSI Fee waiver Scheme, Shri R D Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Jammu University said that this initiative of the Institute will encourage the youth of Jammu & Kashmir to develop themselves into professionals and be an important part of the Corporate architecture of the Country.
