JAMMU: While the investigation in the blind murder case of Anita Suri, 58, resident of Reshamghar Colony, another woman was found murdered in Khour area today.
A woman, identified as Geeta Devi, 30, was found dead at her home in Phariwala, Khour on Thursday morning.
During investigation it was found that she was murdered by her husband, the police said.
"The woman was killed by her husband, Ravinder Kumar, son of Waryam Singh," said police.
The murder took place in a fit of rage over some family issue, said the police . "We have registered a case under section 302 RPC and started the investigation," police added.
Meanwhile, to crack the blind murder case of Anita Suri a senior faculty at AMT School, a meeting was held at office of SSP Jammu where SHO concerned was asked to keep a close watch on his relatives to get some leads, besides going through her Call Details Report (CDR).
"The concerned SHO has been directed to inquire about arrival and departure of relatives at her house," SSP Jammu Sunil Gupta said.
The deceased woman was living alone.
Police said that her postmortem and FSL reports are awaited and will play an important role in cracking the blind murder case.
