Jammu, May 24: Jammu SanskritiSchool,Jammu Students excelled in Open District Taekwon –Do- Championship held at M.A Stadium Jammu. The students showcased their extra ordinary skills.36-Athletes managed to achieve to climb on the winner’s podium. 16 Gold, 8 Silver, and 12 bronze medals

Silver medal winner areNeerajVerma, NaazManhas, Gagan, Ashpreet Singh, ArmanSaini, NitishSharma,HarishSaini,MunishManhas and Bronze Medal winner areAmandeepKour, ShalviSaini, Anjali Salaria, Sujal Singh, Aryan Saini, HarishSaini, AmitJamwal, Rajnish Kumar, Rajat Gupta, Gurman Singh, Karanjit Singh,Janwaj Vikrant Singh.
The students of the school who participated in this championship and coach Ms.JagpreetKour were honored in special assembly by Mrs.RohiniAima Principal cum Vice Chairperson of the school
She said that the school management is paying focused attention to promote physical education in school and is in this regard sports infrastructure is being upgraded for providing platform to the students to take part in different sports/ activities at District, State, National and International levels.
