Farewell accorded to Col Kaushal by JSSC

Jammu, May 22: The conference Hall of the Heritage School Jammu reverberated with applause yesterday after relishing the welcome address delivered by Mr. Jagdish Dhami, the President, Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex & Principal, Heritage School. In his address, he emphasized on inculcating more positivity among students in order to make this world a better place to live in. He also added that in the contemporary materialistic society, where only the matter matters and emotions are sent for a toss for achieving petty gains, the sensitization of inherent value system in children was considered to be the most essential ingredient in grooming of the future leaders. He appreciated all the members of JSSC for inspiring the society.
During the General Body Meeting, Mrs. Nirmal Mahna, the General Secretary, JSSC & Principal, DPS, Rajbagh, Kathua briefed about the meaningful transactions of the last meeting. After the confirmation of the Minutes of the last Meeting, several important issues on the agenda were deliberated upon and with consensus arrived at the culmination point. The major highlight of this Meeting turned out to be the finalization of Sahodaya School calendar with consensus from all the members, which would certainly provide a befitting platform to each Sahodaya school to showcase its talent as well as to reinforce the cross-cultural ties among students and staff of the participating schools.
The day also witnessed emotional outpours from several seasoned Principals, while they gave vent to their feelings and poured out their hearts on the occasion of bidding farewell to the outgoing Principal of Sainik School Nagrotra, Col.Kapil Dev Kaushal. Various speakers highlighted the remarkable milestones he created while being at the helm of affairs as its worthy Principal. Under his visionary leadership and able administration, the school explored new frontiers of excellence and reached the pinnacle of glory.
The vote of thanks was delivered by the Jammu Sahodaya PRO, Mr. Rajesh Rathore, Principal G.D.Goenka Public School, Jammu, who lauded and appreciated the efforts of all members of Sahodaya. In his address, he shared about his feelings while working with Col Kaushal and how his high morals and ethics would be duly followed and his association with the organization would always be cherished by everyone.
