Rajouri police arrested 3 bovine smugglers, rescued 12 bovine animals.

Jammu, May 22: As a part of drive against menace of Bovine smuggling Rajouri Police led by SHO P/S Rajouri SP(Prob) Sudhanshu Verma under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqrs. Rajouri Sh. Jaswant Singh, on 21.05.2017 laid a naka/checking at Darhali Bridge/Atti area , Rajouri. During naka checking Police a TATA Mobile bearing registration No.JK20-3809 was asked to stop. However the vehicle rushed ahead and was subsequently chased . In the chase, nine bovine animals were rescued and the unknown bovine smuggler left the vehicle with bovines and fled away from the spot.
In this connection, Case FIR Nos. 207/2017 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PCA has been registered at P/S Rajouri and investigation going on.
Similarly, Sunderbani Police led by SHO P/S Sunderbani Insrp. Surinder Singh Khadyal under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Sh. Nawaz Ahmed, laid a naka on a specific information at Thandapani, Sunderbani on 21.05.2017. during naka checking Police seized a TATA Mobile bearing registration No.JK02AU-8597 and rescued one bovine animal, Police seized the vehicle and arrested two bovine smugglers.
In this connection case FIR No. 57/2017 U/S 188 RPC & 177/184/66/192-A MV Act. have been registered at P/S Sunderbani and investigation going on.
At Dharamsal, SHO P/S Dharamsal Insrp. Romal Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Sh. Nawaz Ahmed, laid a naka on a specific information at Manjidhar, Siot. On intervening night of 21/22.05.2017, during naka checking Police rescued two bovine animals and arrested one bovine smuggler.
In this connection, Case FIR Nos. 207/2017 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PCA has been registered at P/S Dharamsal and investigation going on.
