NHM Union Doda holds District Level Meet

Doda, May 22: In order to stimulate all National Health Mission (NHM) Employees of the District and to bring them on one platform, a District Level Meet of NHM Employees was held at Conference Hall of District Hospital Doda which was organized by NHM Employees Association Dustrict Unit Doda.
The meeting was attended by all representatives of District Union Doda besides Block President of Gandoh, Thathri, Gandoh and active nhm members of the District.
In the meeting, various issues and problems being faced by the NHM Employees were discussed in detail regarding regularization and stress was laid on all NHM Employees to get united on one platform to strengthening the unity among all so that the union could project their genuine demands before Govt and Concerned Quarters in a good way.
Speaking on the occasion, District President NHM Employees Association Doda Faizan A Tramboo thanked all the NHM Employees of the District for their active participation in each and every programme of the union, added that it will boost up the morale among all NHM Employees while struggling for their demands. In addition to it, Tramboo expressed gratitude to all NHM Employees of the District for showing faith on his Presidentship with the help of their suppport and cooperation. In the meeting Faizan A Tramboo also appealed all the NHM Employees of Chenab Region to get united on platform so that we shall strike hard till the justice will not be given to all NHM Employees of the State.
Among others who also spoke on the occasion were Chairman Mashood Latief Zargar, Chief Advisor Dr Nasir Masood Indrabi, Block President Bhaderwah Mohd Akhtar, Block Vice President Gandoh Mushtaq Ahmed, Block President Thathri Firdous Amin, Sr Core Committee Member Dr Sadeeq Wani, Dr Farhat from Gandoh Block, Javed Iqbal from NCD and District Programme Manager NHM Jahangir Mehta.
The work of stage secretary was carried out by Advisor Shabir Ahmed with the assistance of Cashier Ashok Shan.
At the end of the programme, a mild modification was done in District NHM Union in which Manager DEIC DH Doda Faizan Elahi Butt was elected as new Vice President while a core group committee was also constituted which would keep over all supervision in all activities of the District and will be authorized to take decision before going for any future activity are as Dr Sadeeq Wani from Thathri, Dr Nasir Masood/Dr Shazia, Dr Anil from Bhaderwah, Dr Farhat/Dr Irfan from Gandoh, Mashood Latief from Ghat, Mohd Akhtar from Bhaderwah, Jahangeer Mehta/Ashima Kotwal from CMO Office, Faizan Tramboo from Ghat Doda, Firdous Amin from Thathri, Vijay Shama from Ghat, Rajinder Kumar and Ashwani Manhas from Assar, Shashi/Ashok from Assar, Kirti, Nikita and Faizan Butt from DH Doda.
Meanwhile issue related to District Udhampur regarding conducting of Skill Assesment Test for ANMs and other Paramedical Staff was also discussed in the meeting and it was decided that the District NHM Union Doda will intervene in this matter with the higher authorities of the Health Deptt so that such kind of harassment among NHM Employees comes into an end.
