RISING STAR CORPS CELEBRATES 13TH RAISING DAY

Jammu, Apr 27: The Yol Cantonment based Rising Star Corps of the Army celebrated its 13th Rising Day with fervour. A series of events were organised to commemorate the occasion, on 26 April 2017 and 27 April 2017. Lieutenant General S K Saini, General Officer Commanding, Rising Star Corps laid the wreath on behalf of all ranks of the Corps to commemorate the occasion.
In his complimentary message on the occasion, the General Officer extended warm greetings and good wishes to all ranks of the Corps and their families. He applauded the professionalism displayed by all ranks in the last 12 years in which the Corps has grown in strength and has lived up to the task of being the “Sentinels of the Gateways to Jammu & Kashmir”.
