SMVDU Organizes Inter Hostel Volleyball Tournament

Jammu, Apr 27: SMVDU successfully organizes Inter- Hostel volleyball tournament. On the final day of the tournament Trikuta and Vindhyachal Hostel boys were face to face in the final match. Trikuta Hostel team was led by Jayant Kumar and Vindhyachal Hostel team by Swapnil Kumar. It was a thriller as Vindhyachal Hostel team was leading the game with 2-0 set difference, but Trikuta Hostel snatched the match by continuously winning the last 3 sets and making the victory. Finally, Trikuta hostel won the match with set points 16-25, 14-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-20.
The tournament was organized by Board of Sports Activities under Presidentship of Mr. Rajiv Kumar, and under the guidance of Mr. Ashok Sharma, Director Sports, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Capt. Sucha Singh , Sports Coach of the University dedicated himself as match referee. Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, Prof. Sanjeev Jain congratulated to winner team and extend his best wishes both the teams for playing final match of the tournament. The University Sport ground was full of viewers.
