Press Club Mendhar condemns SHO’S behavior with a journalist

MENDHAR, Apr 27: Press Club Mendhar today held a meeting wherein all members expressed serious resentment over recent incident of misbehave with some journos by SHO Mendhar. President Press Club Mendhar Javaid Iqbal condemned the behavior of SHO Mendhar Abid Rafaqi with a local journalist Rahi kapoor, the other day and demanded a strong action against the said SHO from higher authorities. They said that the said SHO misbehaved with a Journalist at Mendhar and used unparliamentarily language. Rahi Kapoor was coming to Mendhar on bike from a remote area after covering an Army function. The said journalist’s bike was stopped by the SHO Mendhar and asked him to show his documents. The said journalist said that documents are not with him and SHO can impose fine on him for violating traffic rules. The said SHO used unparliamentarily language which doesn’t suit any officer. The members of Press Club Mendhar appealed the DGP to look into the matter and punish the guilty. In this occasions Tazeem kazmi, Nazim Ali Manhas, Rahi Kapoor, Subash Bali, Rohani Chandan and Vinod Dutta also speak.
