Farmer injured in explosion in North Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 26: A farmer was injured when an unidentified explosive device went off in a paddy field in Bandipora today, official sources said.
They said 60-year-old Ghulam Mohammad Hurra was working in his paddy field when an explosive material went off at village Bharabad of Sumbal in Bandipora district.
However, others present in the paddy fields immediately rushed him to a hospital from where he was referred to Srinagar. It was not immediately clear what caused the blast, they said, adding police have registered a case and started investigation.
