Health Minister Bali Bhagat Suspends Medical Superintendent Of District Hospital

DODA, Apr 24: The Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat Sunday paid a surprise visit to District Hospital Doda and ordered immediate suspension of the Superintendent. The Superintendent, namely Dr Som Singh, was suspended for poor administration and unable to keep the hospital hygiene.
"During my surprise visit, suspended Dr Som Singh (MS DH Doda) because of poor administration and unable to keep hospital hygiene," writes the Minister on his Facebook account. "When I was in school, my school wall was embarked with a saying......"Work is Worship". But it is really embarrassing that our Doctors/Administrators/Paramedics don't follow the above mentioned saying. Today paid a surprise visit to DH Doda to review its functioning and it was very unfortunate that the basic things like proper sanitation was not there. From day one my main thrust is on proper sanitation and if someone found not adhering to the directions; strict action will be taken against them," the Minister wrote on social media.
