The Kapil Sharma Show: Navjot Singh Sidhu lands in trouble for cracking 'vulgar' jokes
New Delhi: Popular Indian television program 'The Kapil Sharma Show' has apparently become controversy's favourite child. After the much-talked-about Sunil Grover-Kapil Sharma controversy, now judge Navjot Singh Sidhu is under the fire for cracking 'vulgar' jokes.
A senior advocate of the Punjab and Haryana High Court - HC Arora - has reportedly filed a public interest petition seeking restraining orders against Navjot from participating in 'TKSS'.
“The jokes offended me while I was viewing the show along with my wife and daughters. The situation has reached such alarming proportions that the Chief Minister must rein in his Cabinet colleague,” TribuneIndia.com quoted him as saying.
Arora further said, “I believe that working in the entertainment world will certainly divert the attention of a person who holds a ministry. It would be a hindrance to performing his duties as a minister.”
The whole incident happened when Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana visited the show to promote their upcoming film 'Meri Pyaari Bindu'.
