BSF kills Pakistani intruder in Gurdaspur sector

Jalandhar, Mar 27: Border Security Force (BSF) today shot dead a Pakistani intruder in Gurdaspur sector. A BSF spokesperson said that a Pakistani intruder tried to enter into the Indian territory from across the border near Paharipur BoP in Bamial sector of Gurdaspur district.
He said as soon as BSF troops noticed an intruder making a bid to enter the Indian Territory around 0620 hrs, they challenged him but he did not stop and continued his efforts to reach the Border Security Fence following which the BSF opened fire and killed him.
The entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation has been launched.
