Information Department organizes cultural programme for Nari Niketan inmates

KATHUA, MARCH 01-District Information Centre Kathua today organized cultural programme at Nari Niketan Kathua to entertain the inmates.
District Information Officer Kathua Angrej Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.
The artist of District Information Centre Kathua presented Dogri, Punjabi, and Hindi songs.
The inmates of Nari Niketan also participated in the cultural programme and presented Punjabi, Hindi songs. The inmates also danced on the beats of drums and enjoyed the programme.
The administration of Nari Niketan thanked the Information Department for organizing the cultural programme in the premises which provides shelter to destitute girl child, orphan and helpless women.
While speaking on the occasion, District Information Officer Kathua Angrej Singh thanked Nari Niketan authorities for providing venue and cooperation in organizing cultural programme. He said the endeavor of the department is to provide platform to the budding artists and at the very same time to give entertainment to target audience of different age groups. He assured that such programme will be organized in future too.
The artists which participated in the cultural programme included Bunty Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Surjeet Singh, Vikram Charbathia and Joginder Kumar.
