DDC Budgam reviews SSB exam arrangements

BUDGAM, MARCH 01: District Development Commissioner Budgam, Mir Altaf Ahmad, today convened a meeting to review preparations for smooth conduct of Graduate Level Examinations to be conducted by Service Selection Board on March 5, 2017.
SSP, ADC, CEO, ZEOs, Principals of various colleges and Higher Secondary Schools of the district, and various District and Sectoral officers attended the meeting.
It was given out that 2956 candidates are appearing in the said examination in the district, for which 11 examination centers have been established.
On the occasion, the DDC asked the concerned to ensure ensuring fair and transparent conduct of examinations. He asked administrators to implement action plan formulated in letter and spirit and inspect the venues prior to the exams to ensure all the necessary facilities for candidates, so that they don’t face any inconvenience.
Further, he said that restrictions under Section 144 of CrPc would be imposed around all the exam centres for smooth conduct of the process on the examination day.
