Foundation team hashes out modalities with Education Minister

JAMMU, MARCH 01: Tony Blair Faith Foundation (TBFF) under its Generation Global (Gen-G) programme is going to impart training to teachers of 40 selected Government Higher Secondary of Kashmir and its peripheries.
Two TBFF resource persons one each from London and Delhi will reach Srinagar on March 3 and organize two comprehensive trainings on the Generation Global programme for selected teachers and schools.
In this regard a team of foundation led by TBFF Education Consultant Asia, Sandhya Gupta discussed contours of the training programme with the Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Education Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari here this morning.
It was informed that the Foundation would hold separate sessions of training for two groups comprising 40 teachers each and acquaint them with the Generation Global training curriculum via participatory and hands-on activities.
“The first half of the training will focus on pedagogy and teaching techniques and the second half will provide teachers with technical knowledge about how to connect with their students either by videoconference or through online blogging”, the team said.
The Minister expressed his happiness over the TBFF’s initiative to reach out to the schools of Kashmir. He assured full support from the government for smooth and successful conduct of the programme.
