Excise deptt bids warm adieu to T Angchok on retirement

JAMMU FEBRUARY 28: Excise Department bid a warm farewell to Excise Commissioner Tsering Angchok who superannuated today after rendering over 32 years of illustrious service.
Mr. Tsering Angchok joined as an officer in Kashmir Administrative Service in 1984 and worked in various capacities as Under Secretary to Government, Planning Department, Deputy Secretary to Governor, ADC Leh and ADDC Jammu, DC Jammu and Leh, Administrator in Associated Hospitals. After his induction into IAS, he served as Director Handloom and Excise Commissioner, where he has been credited for conceptualizing the Social Responsibility Corpus Fund.
Excise Commissioner, Javed Ahmad Khan, Deputy Excise Commissioners, Excise and Taxation officers and staff of the Excise Department attended the function.
