2-day seminar on assessment, evaluation system in examinations concludes

SRINAGAR FEBRUARY 28: A 2-day State level seminar on Assessment and Evaluation System of Examinations organized by Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), Government College of Education Srinagar concluded here today.
On the concluding day as many as 12 speakers from various colleges presented their paper in the technical session which was followed by a question and answer session.
Dean Colleges Council University of Kashmir Prof. (Dr.) Nilofer Khan, Director HRDC University of Kashmir Prof. (Dr) Gulam Mohi-ud-din Sangmi, Head/Dean School of Education, Department of Education Central University Prof.(Dr) N.A. Nadeem, Principal IASE Prof.(Dr) Parveen Pandit and others were present on the valedictory day.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Dr) Nilofer Khan, who was chief guest, said that relationship between teacher and student should be dynamic and an atmosphere of trust and dedication is necessary for better academic results. She said with the help of science & technology, e-assessment and e-learning a transparent way for the assessment and evaluation system can be adopted so that tangible results are achieved.
Other speakers also highlighted the need of change in assessment and evaluation system of examinations in accordance with the global changing trends.
