GB Pant hospital gets Cryofuge 5500I

SRINAGAR, FEBUARY 25: GB Pant hospital Saturday became only third hospital of Associated Hospitals of GMC, Srinagar to have Cryofuge-5500I Cell Separator which facilitates formation of fresh frozen plasma, pack cell and plasma concentrate from whole blood.
With the commissioning of the equipment, the hospital’s blood bank will be able to separate the blood components of the needy patients admitted in this health institute.
The hospital administration said that the equipment was donated by a Mumbai based NGO in presence of Principal/Dean, Government Medical College, Srinagar, Prof. (Dr.) Kaiser Ahmad and other Faculty Members.
