Ganga provides financial assistance

SAMBA, FEBRUARY 25: The Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today provided financial assistance to beneficiaries who were not registered under State Marriage Assistance Scheme (SMAS).
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that government is committed towards welfare of poor and downtrodden. He added that fresh survey needs to be done for SMAS as many needy people have not been covered in the current list.
With the personal intervention of Minister, Mamta Verma D/O Prem Chand and Jagdish Raj were provided marriage assistance of Rs 10000 from District Red Cross Fund.
