NPP Supremo calls on Hurriyat Conference leaders in Kashmir Fundamental Rights for J&K residents is only way out

Jammu, Feb 23: Prof.Bhim Singh, Supremo of National Panthers Party during his stay in Kashmir Valley met several social and political activists from cross section of the society. He also called on Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani who has been ailing inside his house which has been kept in siege by the armed police for several days. The local police guarding his house had to seek permission of Inspector-General of Police, Kashmir Range before I along with my colleague could be allowed to enter Geelani’s house. The house is under siege for several months may be, for several years. Signs of democracy and situation of the people in Kashmir Valley in the RSS controlled government in the Valley.
Prof.BhimSingh was accompanied by senior journalist, Ms. Nasreen Hamid, JKNPP General Secretary, Manjoor Naik, Distt. President Gandherbal, Abdul Rashid Ganae, Secretary-JKNPP Ajaj Ahmed and others. Prof.Bhim Singh with his colleagues spent nearly 40 minutes at the residence of Syed Ali Shah Geelani and wished him speedy recovery from illness.
Prof.Bhim Singh and his colleagues also called on Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwais Umar Farooq at his residence. Prof.Bhim Singh also congratulated Mirwais for having been blessed with a son only last week. Prof.Bhim Singh also spent an hour with the glittering Kashmiri leader and hoped that democracy shall also blossom some day in J&K which stands mortgaged to the opportunists and corrupt leadership since fifties.
Prof.Bhim Singh with his colleagues also called on Prof.Abdul Ghani Bhat, Spokesman of the Hurriyat Conference and an acute analyist on the Kashmir political history and the situation. The Panthers Party Supremo spent an hour with him also.
Prof.Bhim Singh told some media friends this morning that his interaction with the Hurriyat Conference leaders was very fruitful and he hoped that genuine leadership of J&K shall succeed in organizing a ‘Heart to Heart’ Meet in J&K among the prominent political leaders and social activists sometime in April-May this year. Prof.Bhim Singh said that he carried this message to the Hurriyat Conference leadership. Prof.Bhim Singh said that he shall soon get in touch with leaders from other recognised political parties of J&K including well-known social activists and thinkers to find out a way to restore democracy in J&K which stands eloped for decades in J&K.
Prof.Bhim Singh also expressed hope that the leadership of Kashmir, Jammu Pradesh and Ladakh region shall be able to sit together to discuss the prevailing situation in the state of J&K and the way out to ensure lasting peace in the state and return of democracy with provision of Fundamental Rights to all the residents of J&K as the citizens of India has been enjoying within the meaning and scope of Chapter-III of the Indian Constitution. Prof.Bhim Singh said while talking to media friends in Srinagar this morning that the Constitution of J&K has no Fundamental Rights guaranteed in so-called Constitution. Prof.Bhim Singh expressed gratitude to the Supreme Court of India which has been carefully guarding the civil and fundamental rights of the residents of J&K within the meaning and scope of Article 32 of the Constitution of India.
