24 Inspectors upped as DySPs

JAMMU: To overcome the deficiency of officers in the lower rung of Police, the Home Department today placed 24 Inspectors as in-charge Deputy Superintendents of Police.
An order issued by the Home Department said that 24 Inspectors have been placed as Deputy Superintendents of Police in their own pay and grade. The promotions were made purely on stop gap basis, said order.
The Inspectors who have been promoted as: Inspector Daleep Singh, Inspector Bharat Bushan, Inspector Farooq Ahmad, Inspector Khursheed Ahmad, Inspector Farooq Ahmad, Inspector Syed Ahmad Badana, Inspector Farooq Ahmad, Inspector Rai Kumar, Inspector Abdul Rashid Pukhta, Inspector Rajinder Bhardwaj, Inspector Mohammad Ismall. Nazir Ahmad, Inspector Farooq Ahmad, Inspector Raqhubir Sinqh, Inspector Zubair Ahmad, Inspector Bashir Ahmad, Inspector Mohammad Afzal, Inspector Farooq Ahmad, Inspector Zia-ul-Haq, Inspector Ajay Kumar, Inspector Ghulam Qadir, Inspector Shamima Bano, Inspector Tanveer Ahmad and Inspector Mehboob-ul-Haq.
