JAMMU: Gangyal Police arrested a hardcore criminal with 12 bore double barrel gun here today.
Acting on specific information, a special naka was laid at Seohra and a notorious criminal was apprehended, sources said.
“Identified as Parmjeet Singh @ Murga @ Pankaj son of Harnam Singh resident of Seohra, Gangyal, Jammu was nabbed with a 12 bore double barrel gun along with five live cartridges, 18 cartridges of pistol and one cartridge of .315 gun,” said SDPO Gandhi Nagar, Rafiq Manhas.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 15/2017 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Gangyal. The arrest and recovery was made by Insp. Aijaz Wani, SHO P/S Gangyal under the supervision of SDPO City South, Rafiq Manhas and SP City South, Sandeep Choudhary.
