Drug peddler arrested in Anantnag

Srinagar Feb 20: Acting tough against drug peddlers, Anantnag police arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
Acting on an information about the transportation of charas, Anantnag police established a naka at Tulkhan Bijbehara crossing. During naka checking, one person identified as Mohammad Asif Dar son of Abdul Gani Dar resident of Tulkhan Bijbehara was intercepted. On his checking 120 grams of charas in shape of sticks was recovered from his possession.
Anantnag police has registered a case and investigation was taken up.
