Day chill intensifies as rain lashes Kashmir, night temp improves further

Srinagar, Feb 18: The Kashmir Valley, including summer capital, Srinagar received fresh rain since late last night, resulting in considerable dip in the day temperature.

However, the night temperature witnessed further improvement and settled several notches above normal in Kashmir Valley, where light to moderate rain or snow is predicted at most places in the state during the next 24 hours.

A Met department spokesperson told UNI that light to moderate rain or snow many occur at most places in the valley.
