Girl student raped in Matador

Jammu, Jan 28: A girl student of 9th standard has allegedly been kidnapped and raped in a matador here in Gajansu area. The incident took place at late night of 25 January.

As per complainant, who is a resident of Udeywala, she was kidnapped and later raped in a matador.She said she was coming to her home in a Talab Tillo bound matador when she was kidnapped by the driver and cleaner of the matador.

She said that four persons were sitting in the matador. The driver took the matador to the Gajansu area where one of the four men committed rape on her.

The girl later reported the incident to her parents following which they lodged complaint against the accused in this connection. Based on the complaint, Domana police lodged case FIR No 32/2017 u/s 363,376, 109 , 506 RPC against the accused persons.

Meanwhile, police sources said that police have secured the arrest of the two accused persons while hunt to nab the two others were on till last reports poured in.
