Train service, suspended due to snow in morning, resumes
Srinagar, Jan 24: Train service between Srinagar-Badgam in central Kashmir to Baramulla in north resumed after being suspended due to snowfall since early this morning. The morning train which was leaving Srinagar-Badgam at 0830 hrs for Baramulla was suspended due to snowfall, a railway official told UNI. However, he said, train service on the track was later resumed and other trains are running as per schedule. He said there was no impact on train service between Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region despite snow. Train service in the Kashmir valley was affected due to snowfall two times during this month.
