DC reviews arrangements for National Voters Day

POONCH, JANUARY 23 - Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Harun convened a meeting to review the arrangements for National Voters Day celebrations here today.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ashraf Chowdhury, Project Officer DRDA, Zubiar Shah, Chief Education Officer, Lal Hussain Chowdhury, Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineers, Tehsildars Haveli, Mandi and Surnkote besides other officers.
The meeting discussed the programs and activities chalked out to generate awareness at gross root level .
It was informed in the meeting that the main function would be held at Degree college and similar programs and other related activities would be carried out at sub -division, tehsil and at block and booth level in order to make the democratic system vibrant, inclusive and more participatory.
