Div Com finalizes R-Day arrangements

JAMMU, JANUARY 23- Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal finalizes the Republic Day arrangements in a meeting, here today.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Simrandeep Singh, Commissioner JMC, Manmohan Singh, SSP Security, SSP Traffic, Joint Director Information Jammu, senior officer of Health, PHE, PDD, R&B, Fire Services, Youth Services and Sports, Police, Traffic, Army, CRPF, Indian Air Force besides others.
Arrangements like security, traffic, medicare, availability of fire tenders, barricading, deployment of officers, power and water supply, sitting arrangements, refreshment etc were finalized in the meeting.
Divisional Commissioner while speaking on the occasion asked the concerned officers to put in place adequate arrangements to deal with any situation occurred as per the weather forecast. He asked them to make arrangement of water proof tents, rain coats, sand dust and take other precautionary measures to avoid any inconvenience to the VVIPs and participants.
Arrangements for full dress rehearsal to be held on 24th January were also discussed during the meeting.
