SDM Karnah reviews performance of RD Department

KUPWARA, JANUARY 23:- The Sub Divisional Magistrate Karnah Shabir Ahmad Indrabi today convened a meeting of the Officers of Rural Development Department to review the progress under MG NERGA in the Sub Division.
The Tehsildar Kanah, BDOs of Tanghdar and Teetwal and other concerned attended the meeting.
On the occasion, the meeting was informed about the various developmental works completed upto December, 2016 under MG NERGA scheme. It was given out that an amount of Rs 729 lakh were expended under MGNERGA by completing 829 works out of 983 taken in hand by the department, while as 61649 man-days were generated in the sub division.
The SDM impressed upon the field functionaries of the department for timely completion of on-going works carried out by the department under MGNERGA.
