Rationees lists being publicized to seek feedback, rectify errors: Zulfkar Ali

Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Choudhary Zulfkar Ali today said the government has taken steps to address the apprehensions among the people regarding irregularities in rationees lists by making these public to get regular feedback from the people.
Replying to a question by Yasir Reshi in the upper house, the Minister said the list of beneficiaries have been uploaded and made public through National Portal as well as State Departmental Website besides being pasted on concerned Govt sale depots and Fair Price Shops for getting the feedback from the general public and from the rationees, in particular.
He said the fidelity check is also being conducted regularly by the respective Assistant Directors/Deputy Commissioners and the complaints received in this behalf are being dealt appropriately.
The Minister further stated that under NFSA, the erstwhile AAY and BPL families have been included in the PHH category and the grouping has been done strictly under the adopted criteria.
