Emphasizes strict monitoring for timely completion

JAMMU JANUARY 22: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today assessed progress on various works of Modern Bus Stand project Jammu being executed at a cost of Rs 201.68 crore.
The prestigious project comprises modern general bus stand and a multi tier parking which would be of major relief to the commuters, shopkeepers and for those who are visiting the area frequently.
Dr Singh, while reviewing the progress of work on the prestigious project, emphasized the concerned executing agencies to monitor the pace of work strictly so that the work is completed within the stipulated time. He also asked the executing agencies to ensure that quality of work in this project is maintained at all levels so that a durable asset could be dedicated to people. “It is an earnest effort of present dispensation to see that all welfare and development works are done in compliance to the prescribed qualitative and quantitative parameters”, he asserted.
Later, Dy CM visited Hari Singh Memorial Park which is being constructed in memory of Maharaja Hari Singh.
MLA Rajesh Gupta, Divisional Commissioner Pawan Kotwal, Commissioner Sectary Urban and Housing Development Department Hardesh Singh, VC JDA Mubarak Singh, Secretary JDA Vinay Samnotra besides other officials were present on the occasion.
