Land identified for Mini Stadium at Reiyar Ich in district Budgam: Sunil Kumar

JAMMU, JAN 21: Minister of State for Youth Services and Sports, Sunil Kumar Sharma today informed the house that land for construction of Mini Stadium has already been identified at Reiyar Ich in district Budgam.
Replying to a question by Hakim Mohammad Yaseen, the Minister said that land measuring of 60 kanals 10 marlas at Reiyar Ich near Kralpathri has been identified for the construction of Mini Stadium.
"The matter has been accordingly taken up with District Development Commissioner Budgam for transfer of the said land in favour of Youth Services and Sports Department, which has not been formally handed over to this department as yet. As and when the land is formally transferred to the Youth Services & Sports department, the construction of Mini stadium at Kralpathri can be considered subject to the availability of funds," he said.
