Leopard kills boy, devours portion of his body in Doda village

Bhaderwah, Jan 21: Leopard killed a boy and devoured a portion of his body in a village in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday night, police said.
The deceased was identified as Sahil Ahmed (12), son of Ghulam Muhammad of village Nalwa of Ghat tehsil.
The parents of the boy started searches after Sahil didn’t return home for dinner.
“When the body was recovered from the forest adjoining their house, the leopard had already eaten a portion of the neck and abdomen," said SHO Doda Uday Wazir.
