Teenager killed after being hit by train in central Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 21 A 17-year-old girl was killed, when she was hit by a train in central Kashmir district of Budgam, official sources said here today. They said the girl, identified as Humaira, was hit by the train when she was trying to cross the track at Mazhama in Budgam, resulting in her on-the-spot dead. A police team was rushed to the spot and the body was taken away, they added. This is for the second time in less than a month that a person was killed after being hit by a train at Mazhama. A non-local was killed, when he was hit by a train while crossing tracks at Mazhama on January 1.
