DC reviews achievement under Capex Budget

KATHUA, JANUARY 20:- District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Kumar, today convened a meeting to review the physical and financial achievements of various departments under District Capex Budget 2016-17.
Detailed discussion was held on various issues related to effective implementation of vital schemes in the district.
DDC directed the concerned officers to gear up their men and machinery for effective and timely completion of developmental projects. He stressed on optimal utilization of the funds for better results.
DC directed CEO Kathua to submit the status of ongoing works in schools and work in tandem with Rural Development Department for early completion of these works in stipulated time under convergence scheme. He also directed XEN PWD Basohli Division to expedite the ongoing construction works underway in Education and Health sector.
Among others who attended the meeting were Programme Officer DRDA, Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District Panchayat officer, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE, PDD and other sectoral officers from different departments.
