DDC finalizes R-Day arrangements

RAMBAN, JANUARY 20:- To finalize the arrangements for the celebration of Republic Day-2017, District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz, held a meeting with officers, here today.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Ravinder Nath Sadhu , Assistant Commissioner Revenue Vivek Puri , CPO, Uttam Singh, ASP Mushtaq Choudhary, CEO, Mohammad Sharif, CMO, Dr Anwar Bhat, DYSSO, officers from Army, CRPF attended the meeting.
It was finalized in the meeting that the venue of the function will be District Police Line Ground at Chandrog where the National Flag will be unfurled by the chief guest at 9:55 AM followed by march past and cultural programmes.
Issues regarding security, seating arrangements, transport, drinking water and power supply, barricading, traffic regulation, illumination of important buildings, medicare and sanitation were discussed in the meeting.
The DDC directed the concerned departments to ensure requisite arrangements are put in place for making national function a grand success.
