Republic Day arrangements reviewed in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, JANUARY 20: To review the arrangements for Republic Day celebrations, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, G N Balwan, here today.
DDC took a detailed review of the arrangements put in place by the concerned departments regarding security, barricading, sanitation, medicare besides others.
Balwan directed Municipal Committee Kishtwar to intensify the sanitation drive and make the town beautiful by illuminating government buildings and the main venue. He asked the Chief Medical Officer to deploy well equipped ambulance at the venue.
Xen PHE was asked to provide safe drinking water to the students and participants on all the days.
DDC also stressed upon all the district officers to ensure active participation in the programme to make it successful.
Among others the meeting was attended by ADC Kishtwar, SSP, CPO, ACR, Xen R&B, concerned Engineers, Tehsildar Kishtwar besides other officers of the district.
