BJP whips up its Members

JAMMU: Taking serious cognizance of the absence of members from the House during proceedings, Chief Whip of Bharatiya Janata Party, Rajesh Gupta has issued a whip to all party MLA’s to remain present in the House during discussion on grants.
It was seen that party MLAs remain absent in second sitting of the House or avoid continuous sitting during proceedings.
MLAs from the treasury benches used to skip the proceedings, particularly during discussion on grants in the House, which left the government in an embarrassing situation.
To ensure any further embarrassing situation in House, BJP Chief Whip Rajesh Gupta issued whip in writing that disobeyance of the whip will force to take action against the violator.
