Dy CM meets several deputations, assures speedy redress of their grievances

JAMMU, JANUARY 19: Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh today met several deputations including Anganwari workers union led by Bharti Mazdoor Sangh, All J&K Gaddi Sippi Tribes Welfare Association here.
The Anganwari Workers Union led by Bharti Mazdoor Sangh highlighted the issues related to their service and demanded early redressal of their grievances.
Minister for Social Welfare Mr Sajad Gani Lone was also present on the occasion.
The Deputy Chief Minister assured the Anganwari workers speedy redressal of their genuine demands and asked the minister to look into the matter on humanitarian basis.
While interacting with the representatives of all J&K Gaddi Sippi Tribes Welfare Association, Dr Singh assured them that their demands would be looked into and addressed.
Legislators Mr R S Pathania, Mr Jeevan Lal and Dina Nath Bhagat were also present on the occasion.
The demands which were discussed include establishment of an advisory board for development of Gaddi Sippi tribes, establishment of Gaddi Sippi hostel, special economic package for these tribes and grant of ST status for Kolis.
