Srinagar, Jan 19: Air traffic was today resumed from Srinagar International Airport after remaining affected for three days due to moderate to heavy snowfall in Kashmir valley. “All flights are operating as per schedule as the weather has improved today,” an airport official told UNI.

As many as 14 flights operate from the airport between Srinagar, Jammu and New Delhi on daily basis. Air traffic from the only airport here was affected since Monday following moderate to heavy snowfall in the Valley, where more wet weather is predicted during the next 24 hours.

Only one morning flight was able to operate on Tuesday, while rest of the incoming and outgoing flights were cancelled due to snowfall. Meanwhile, on Monday, only four flights were able to operate from the international airport due to moderate to heavy snowfall. This was the second time air traffic from Srinagar airport was disrupted due to snowfall. On January 6, air traffic remained suspended for three days due to snowfall and poor visibility.
